Appointments

Our Medical Centre runs an appointment system; you can make an appointment by calling the clinic or booking online.

Please be aware that our appointments are 10 minutes long. If you require complex care, you are welcome to make a double appointment (20 minutes) with your doctor.

 

Cancellation / DNA Policy

In the event that you may need to cancel an appointment with your doctor or nurse, we request a 2-hour notice period. This is so we can fill the allocated time slot with another patient who may require a doctor’s assistance. Failure to cancel your appointment may incur a DNA fee $40.

Results and Reminders

We encourage our patients to book their own follow-up results appointment with their doctor. Our doctors check all incoming results throughout the day. If a follow-up appointment is required, you will receive a text message (if you have consented to message reminders). Alternatively, you will receive a phone call from our team to arrange a consultation time. If we cannot get in touch, we will send out a letter to your address. Please make sure you notify the clinic if you have changed address.

If your results are Urgent, you will be contacted immediately.

To further improve our service to you our practice operates a reminder system to patients for routine general health checks.

Patient Feedback

To help improve our service, every so often you may be asked to complete a questionnaire about the practice.  The questionnaire is confidential. We encourage patients to provide feedback. There is a Suggestion Box available in the waiting room.  If you have any problem with the service we offer, please speak with our practice manager or email: admin@mudgeefmc.com.au

Interpreter Service

Our practice has a translator service for those who do not understand English and an interpreting service for those who are deaf. Please ask our reception for either of these services.
